Multi-head Working Centres for the Transversal "Miter-Folding" series "SMT"
The transversal machining center for the "Miter-Folding" technology with multiple heads has been designed to perform precision "V" cuts transversal on panels and bands, coated with PVC or even with not-foldable materials that require the application of adhesive tape.
It is a high-performance machine, used for the production of medium and large quantities of Hi-Fi speakers, small furniture, drawers and other details assembled with the Miter-Folding system.
The "SMT" can be supplied with a width from 2500 to 4000 mm and with special equipment that varies according to the customer's production needs.
Features
The entire operating logic is controlled by a multi-axis numerical control with continuous control of the CNI type with integrated PLC. Programming takes place in a simplified way, by entering the dimensions of the piece, with visualization of the functions on video, dimensions and type of grooves.
The head-carrying trolleys, which slide on a ground steel beam anchored to the back of the machine, support the milling heads which can be of the following types: heads for "V" cuts with adjustable angle, with movable motors manually from 90° to 45° or heads for "V" cuts at 90°, with two fixed motors at 45°.
